an update for character's costume,

I have many changes to my character, so I redo the rough sheet. hope that would show the development.

Assignment04 - Rough story

The Warriors

Again 10 years have been passed. It’s about the time the gate will be open; the suffering groaning sound from the cave came through to the village has been more and more frequently. 16^th, the name a young warrior was given; he is the 16^th generation of the warriors clan, whose fate is to fight the monster living in the cave. 16^th is strong enough now, and he has been preparing for this for long enough. He takes over the sword from the chief. He leaves his village and finally starts his adventure with his pride of his warrior clan – he can’t wait to end this fate for his clan and take revenge for his ancestors. The gate only opens every 10 years when the moon light hits the top of the mountain.

Finally, the gate is moving, through the moon light, 16^th can see someone is walking out of the cave, that must be that monster! 16^th is holding his sword and rushing at it! One shot only! The sword is pointing through the monster’s body and blood is splashing out. At the time when 16^th is happy about his success of revenge, he feels it’s getting dark inside the cave. He can’t even turn around his body and get out of there; the gate is closed, can’t open. 16^th gets trapped inside of the cave.

Day after day, 16^th is getting thin and weak. But in his mind, he must get himself survived and go back to his village to tell everybody he had killed the monster so that he decide to eat everything he can get inside the cave even though he cannot see what are those things because of the darkness.

10 years later, the gate is about to open again. 16^th was so excited that he could get out of this nightmare. When the moon light hits the top of the mountain, the gate opens! 16^th is walking toward to the light, suddenly a reflecting light from a sword dazzling 16^th’s eyes. As soon as he opens his eyes, a sword is going across through his body; he can see his own blood which is in blue color, and this young man holding this sword is in a costume with a logo, 17. The gate is about to close again, and he knows that this 17^th young warrior would also stay in the cave for another 10 years.

Character Development Assignment

Back story:

Jeff- this is the name he uses on Earth. Jeff is an alien from a planet located far away from Earth in the outer space, which has a very nice natural environment, and high technology, but also with high unemployment rate. Jeff was forced to move to Earth because he cannot make a living for himself on his home planet. And the Earth is the only other planet which he can be fit in since Jeff just looks almost the same as a human being. But on Earth, Jeff still feels frustrated and defeated in finding jobs. People don't hire him because of his ugly and fierce face. On the other hand, actually, Jeff is very gentle and kind-hearted; he loves the nature and cares for animals; also he can cook very well.

Toll Booth:

Jeff is driving his car and heading to another city for another job interview. And then Jeff was stuck with this automated tollbooth here since he doesn’t have any money for passing through. Now Jeff feels nervous, and he is afraid that he may miss the interview. ‘This is too bad!’ Jeff thinks this will be the last chance that he can get a job after failed to interview so many times. If he still can’t make it for this time, he is going to move back to his home planet. Jeff jumps out of his car and looks around, worried, asking for help but no one helps, someone even scared by Jeff’s face. Jeff feels disappointed and hopeless; however, he is not giving up yet, he starts selling sandwiches using the food he has in car. Maybe because those sandwiches are made from Jeff’s hometown recipe, they look so amazing and smell so yummy that attracted to the people who drives by. There are so many people come to buy, and Jeff can’t even stop making these sandwiches. After they are all sold out, the interview should have already ended long ago, although now Jeff has enough money for the toll. But for now, there is only one thought in Jeff’s mind, ‘Why did I so care about finding a job? Now I am starting a business already!’

Assignment 1: Concepts

Hi every one! Here are my 5 concepts.

The first concept is about this young warrior -16th, that's the name he was given, which mean he is the 16th person who was chosen, to fight the monster living in the cave. Before him, 15 warriors, no one has been
survived. 

The second concept is to illustrate the feeling of a nerd falling in love with someone secretly and finally he figure out that the girl also loves him back. So this image will be like a scene about his fantasy showing his happyness, to be loved.

The third idea comes form the two hamsters I have. The one on the left is small B, and the other one named Curry. I haven't come up a story yet, but I think it will be interesting to animate their fun moments. And this image is a scene that curry is arguing the running wheel small B is sitting on would be belong to him, he was like, "get your butt back to your own running wheel right now!"

This concept is a development from a baby hero character I made before, and now he is already a teenager, which also has growing pains - he doesn't want to be a hero anymore. He wants to abandon his power and become a normal person.

The last concept I have is about a fantasy dream. An artist, who was too tired and fell asleep while he was still working on his animal drawing project, dreamed about all his animal characters becoming alive and popping out from his sketchbook.
